A big part of my job involves making sure we have the right number of instruments available for our customers. Too few and there isn’t a good selection. Too many and we simply run out of room. Because of my background before coming to Encore, striking the right balance is usually attainable. However, there are times I can’t pass up opportunities to acquire particularly great instruments. There are also times when I’ve been waiting for a certain model for months, even years. The result is that there can be moments when we are SWIMMING in instruments.
