The most recognizable name in the world of violin makers – Antonio Stradivari.  While it’s a name known by almost everyone, seeing one of his instruments up close isn’t always easy.  In conjunction with the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI), the State Museum is having a “Festival of the Violin”.  For a time, the famous “Gingold” Stradivari violin will be on display at the State Museum.  If seeing a Strad is on your bucket list, be sure to check it out!
